This is an awesome opportunity to buy books and support your child's school too. Our book fair will be held from Friday, February 25th through Friday. March 4, 2022, in the BES Library. Parents and grandparents are invited to visit the Book Fair.

Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Due by and drawing will be February 11th.

BES will reward our students for effort and growth in their classrooms this month with a pajama day. We use these types of rewards to help get our school and students motivated to promote positive behaviors. An important part of PBIS is teaching clear behavioral expectations to all students. Once our students have learned and practiced these classroom values, their social and academic growth will also improve.

The Literacy-Based Promotion Act requires all 3rd
grade public school students to pass a reading test in order to qualify
for promotion to the 4th grade.

The Brookhaven School District will transition to hybrid learning (A/B schedule) as a precaution due to COVID-19 safety concerns.

BES will offer afterschool tutoring to provide academic support to our third-grade students. If your child received a letter, please return it on Friday, January 7th.

Please review the schedule and help your student study and review for his/her tests.
