We are proud of ALL of our students' efforts reading library books and/or Myon. Students were encourage to read, daily and take a quiz to make sure that students are comprehending what they read. We want to recognize eleven students who exceeded their Accelerated Reader Goals. Congratulations to our students.

The activities on our December calendar are educational and fun. These activities will encourage our parents to send our students to school and allow our students to have fun while learning at Brookhaven Elementary School.

Our students will enjoy a night at Panther Park and King Field. Students will be selected based on their end of the year MAAP Assessment Scores for 4th graders and 3rd grade students will be selected by perfect attendance, positive behaviors in the classrooms, and around the campus.

Why Strong Reading Skills Matter?

The Math Boot Camp will be provided during school hours to help our students understand math concepts in 3rd and 4th grade. Our school will focus on lessons and videos to help explain all kinds of math concepts in areas that our students struggle understanding and review math concepts that were taught at the beginning of the school year. It will start on April 24th - May 5th.

Mrs. Grim, BES Librarian will host our Spring Book Fair and we are inviting our parents to join your child(ren) for lunch in the BES cafeteria and attend the book fair.

Each student received a "Kindness Calendar" to show Random Acts of Kindness to each other, staff members, and within the community.

Chromebooks will be distributed Monday -Friday from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. by appointment only. Call the school to schedule an appointment

The Brookhaven Elementary Fun Run was AMAZING! Thank you for all of your support. PTA could not have made this a success without you!
