Parents of BES "at-home" learners who pick up instructional packets will pick up and drop off in our pick up lane for the last time on Monday, November 2nd from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
The staff of BES has decided to implement our primary method of pick up and delivery to our "Remote Wednesday Days". All of our at-home learners are required to come to the BES campus from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. unless another time is discussed by your child's teacher.
All at-home learners will come on campus to take tests and screeners unless a medical excuse is provided to the BES office from a medical doctor.
STUDENTS WITHOUT INTERNET ACCESS Every Wednesday students would be required to turn in and take home a week worth of assignments. Those assignments must be fully completed and turned in each Wednesday to the child's teacher. If the assignments are not turned in, your child will be marked absent on the day(s) work was not completed. STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED to RETURN PACKETS EVERY WEEK on WEDNESDAY.
STUDENTS WITH INTERNET ACCESS Canvas is our primary learning management system, and our teachers will use this tool to provide students with their weekly assignments. So, lessons will be put on Canvas for our online learners, but those students, as well as our students who complete instructional packets, are required to come on campus to take ALL tests and screeners.
Each week, teachers will post assignments for the week. New material will be loaded and posted at the beginning of each week.
Attendance will be taken and determined by completed assignments. Failure to complete online assignments or turn in instructional packets may result in your child being marked absent and reported to the school attendance officer.
Bus transportation is available on Wednesday. Please call the office to request a bus pickup.
