BES Virtual and At-Home Learners
On Monday, August 31 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., all at-home learners must pick up a learning packet to start the new school year. Teachers will communicate with our parents throughout this week about Canvas, the student’s online learning system, iReady, and other updates from the school district.
After this week, any student who does not have access to the internet will be required to pick-up weekly assignments every Monday.
REQUIREMENTS
- Each Monday, except after the Labor Day holiday, that week’s assignment and resources will be picked up at the school. At this time you will also return completed assignments from the week before. This will be conducted by a Monday drive-thru in 3rd grade Parent Drop-off/PPU lane on the north side of the school from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., weekly. Instructional Packet #2 will be passed out on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
All assignments will be graded. Your At-Home Learning student will have the same curriculum as a classroom student. It is very important that all completed assignments be turned in on the following Monday, so an accurate grade can be given.
2. Classroom teachers will communicate with students/parents, as needed.
- We need parents to inform your child’s teacher of the technology that is accessible to your child. You can reach your child’s teacher by email or by calling the school at 601-833-3139. Your child’s teacher email is their [email protected].
